Dr. Cassileth is an amazing surgeon. She is incredibly talented and a lovely human being. She really cares for her patients and it shows. Did I say she is also very, very talented? I came to her for a revision of breast reconstruction after having had a not-so-good job with my breast reconstruction surgery following a double mastectomy. She did magic. My results now look outstanding! I look incredibly natural! Going through a mastectomy-breast reconstruction is an incredibly hard experience as it is, and I believe we women deserve a plastic surgeon who can understand us and make us feel beautiful. Dr. Cassileth did just that! Also, her office is beautiful and all the staff was pleasant, professional and caring.
All and all, 5 stars! I would give it 6 stars if I could 🙂

Dr. Killeen did the reconstruction part of my double mastectomy, and my breast look fantastic!! Dr. Killeen knows her stuff and I felt very confident with her as my surgeon. She is smart, warm, informative, and has great bedside manner. Dr. Killeen and her staff made sure I understood what the surgery entailed and answered all my questions in my pre op appointment – and checked on me daily post op. What sets Dr. Killeen and Casselith Plastic surgery aside from all the rest is their direct to implant approach. I was so relieved I only needed one surgery for my double mastectomy. First Dr. Richardson removed my breasts tissue and then, in the same surgery, Dr. Killeen placed in implants. It was one and done. I was able to wake up with my new healthy breasts and move on from my cancer journey. I can’t thank Dr. Killeen and her team enough. It was the best experience for a shitty situation.

If Yelp would allow me to leave 10000 stars I would! Dr. Cassileth and her incredible team has been with me since the first week of my breast cancer diagnosis in 2005. I went to Dr. Cassileth for a second opinion because the first plastic surgeon I went to was only interested in giving me the “opportunity to jump up to a much larger breast size”. Then I met Dr. Cassileth and felt her compassion right away. Her intention was to do my reconstruction and have my breasts look as close to my originals as possible, being that I was already going through so many changes. Her attention to detail and medical knowledge is astounding. She’s not just a plastic surgeon, she is a healer and an architect. She completely rebuilt my breasts despite the scar tissue from the mastectomy, radiation and everything else. Over the years we’ve done a series of fat graftings to reduce my implant size and in April we did a full implant removal so that I’d have only fat in my breasts. The technology was not available when we met in 2005 to just go right to fat so we had to do implants but she worked with me through the years to make this dream possible for me. I am so happy to have natural feeling and looking breasts! Even with the implants they were great and I always felt very confident. I just personally didn’t want implants (I’m very holistic with what i put in and on my body). I cannot say enough about Dr. Cassileth, Carollee, Sonya, Star, Casey and everyone who goes above and beyond to make surgery easy. And one more shout out to her colleague Dr. Memsik who did my mastectomy. This team saved my life and I never worried, not for a moment. That is priceless. Thank you, with all of my heart.

In May, 2020, I had bilateral breast reconstruction with Dr. Kelly Killeen From our first consultation (virtual, and long distance) to post-op and continuing care, I was and am in the best of hands. Not only is she an eminently competent surgeon, but, in my opinion, an accomplished artist! Equally important to me as her technical skills was Dr. Killeen’s ability to put me at ease – to give me confidence that she heard and honored my concerns and hopes for specific outcomes. Where other surgeons said, “no,” Dr. Killeen said, “we can make that happen.” Now, more than 5 months post-op, I am thrilled with my results…and they just keep getting better! I’ve had three procedures with Dr. Killeen between November 2020 – October 2021 starting with a double mastectomy with reconstruction and I can definitively say that there is no one else I would trust when going under the knife. Dr. Killeen is attentive, caring, and above all, exceptionally skilled. I’d never had surgery before and Dr. Killeen made sure I felt safe and comfortable when undergoing what was both an emotional and physical journey. Dr. Lisa Cassileth is an experienced and skilled surgeon at the forefront of Breast Cancer Reconstruction. I was diagnosed with IDC in Feb of this year and friend referred to me to her and I feel so blessed she did. There aren’t many options in the mastectomy world and Dr. Cassileth’s SWIM technique was a game changer for me. This surgery would allow all the cancer to be removed and the remaining fat tissue and skin would be molded into new smaller breasts AND I could keep my nipple! Flat out miracle and I feel this is the surgery of future. So much less invasive than other surgeries making recovery time easier. I was off pain meds in 3 days, back at my desk job in 2 weeks and I get stronger every day!
